Our polyester spandex fabric solves the issues of uneven elasticity and poor form retention that keep textile purchasers up at night. This blend was specially designed for sportswear businesses that need industrial-level durability by our Jiangsu mill, which has 16 years of experience creating performance textiles.
Rieter air-jet looms are used to calibrate our 97/3 poly-spandex ratio. These looms' German engineering guarantees a 98% recovery after more than 50 washes and a 45% crosswise stretch. This is a verified fact rather than merely a claim.
We are aware that compliance cannot be compromised. Our fabric is approved by Blue Angel and Oeko-Tex® for every meter. It passes the wash tests of ISO 6330 without loosing its color or pilling. Regarding production limitations, we are aware that spandex deteriorates at temperatures higher than 195°C. For this reason, we achieve a colorfastness of 4 to 5+ while maintaining fiber integrity using our low-temperature dyeing process at partner facilities (the same ones that supply Nike). We don't cut corners on quality.
The little things have a tremendous impact. Premium Lycra®-grade elastane is mixed with our 20-micron polyester fibers to produce the silky compression feel that Zara and other retailers require. In theory, you should anticipate a finished fabric weight of 250gsm (±3%) and regulated shrinkage of less than 1.5%.
Physical swatches with the label "SD - PS22" are available upon request. Reports from stretch recovery tests will be included with each sample by our QC team. When it comes to sourcing, there is no place for speculation.
